Henotes is the Biblical Greek word for unity. Heno is a ministry aimed at racial unity in the Community of Christ. Heno addresses America’s history of slavery and segregation that has affected the Lord’s church to the extent that, mostly, even churches in America remain segregated despite Jesus’ prayer for unity. Our common bond of Jesus calls us to be united even if society calls us to be segregated. The Heno Project encourages Christian and respectful dialogue and conversation to capture the opportunity that slavery and segregation has given us to be peculiarly united. The Heno Project answers questions that communicate, educate, and unite while allowing friends to ask question of their own. Heno is seen through the lens of an interracial couple who have experiences and views from both sides of the fence and strive for unity. Heno simply aims to create racial unity in American churches.
